Contributed lyrics and poetry

Slapdash contribution

Rapper Slapdash decided to have a bit of a laugh at our expense and posted some unsavory lyrics on our Facebook page. So rather than chuck him off we decided to make a deal. He's a rapper so we said "A verse for a beat!?" And he gladly accepted...here's his contribution.

"Nobody"

Sometimes I see the madness in a man's face,

a statue of sadness standing ranting tranced and displaced,

thoughts free-falling and calling out to strangers,

who only see danger crossing over in evasion

in-sanity or sanity? just an irregularity?

is there freedom when he unleashes his stream of vulgarity?

when he saw paint dried on the lines by the side of the road,

what made him drive to the right and collide with the oncoming flow?

nobody knows, and now he just drifts among pedestrians,

who don't listen to the warnings he repeats and he keeps telling them

'it's the food that's killing them', every day he warns the normals,

the patterns in the numbers all point to the paranormal

The truth seems clear to the outsider, it's so obvious.

The hidden and constant dialogue in his mind is monotonous.

When he finally reaches the end of his tether and the precipice calls,

he leaps off of the pier. dissapears, nobody notices at all.

Louise Lee contribution

Louise got in touch with us via our Facebook page and gave us this little gem that we're now working into a new track.

"I'm A Machine"

I'm a machine.

Chasing my dream on the road to somewhere.

Going up hill.

Maybe we'll still be there someday.
